Marmo is Italian for marble
A sculptor doesn’t force stone into a shape it can’t hold. We work the same way: we study what your hair, brows, and skin want to do, then carve toward it.
MARMO opened in 2023 in a former gallery space on Baltimore Avenue, in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City. Founder Mara Voss had spent nearly a decade in Chicago salons watching the same two failures repeat: clients burned by mystery pricing, and artists burned by schedules stacked three deep. She built the studio to delete both.
So the menu has numbers on it. The booking flow takes a deposit and gives you a real time slot with a real person. And no artist here is ever booked with two guests at once, which is why your 2:00 starts at 2:00.
The name is a promise about method. Marble rewards patience and punishes shortcuts; so does hair, and so does skin. We would rather tell you your vivid copper takes two sessions than wreck your hair proving it takes one.

Consultation before chemistry
Anything that changes your hair’s structure starts with twenty minutes of honest conversation and a written quote. The quote is the price.
The price is on the menu
If we can’t put a number next to a service, we put “from” and explain exactly what moves it. “Call for pricing” is banned in this building.
One guest per artist per slot
No double-booking, ever. Your appointment is yours alone, which is why deposits exist and why we start on time.
The chairs are real, the calendar is live, and the deposit comes off your total.
